What do you do when life turns out the lights overnight? You reinvent yourself.
My vocation has always been service, discipline, and self-improvement. For years, my life was spent in the mountains, leading operational units. Today, I apply that same strategy and rigor to help people take control of their health and understand how the human body adapts.

From the mountains to the front line
I trained at the General Military Academy and specialized in Infantry. I served as Lieutenant Platoon Leader in the Ski-Climbing Company and later as Captain, taking charge of the Intelligence Section of the "Galicia" 64 Mountain Hunters Regiment. Tactical planning, working under pressure, and physical and mental strength were my day-to-day life.
The turning point that changed everything
In the spring of 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown and while serving in Operation Balmis, my life took a drastic turn. A close contact with COVID-19 triggered a venous sinus thrombosis that caused intracranial hypertension. This sustained pressure ultimately caused an atrophy in the optic nerves.
Within weeks, after fighting to maintain normalcy relying on the eye that still retained some vision, the condition affected both eyes. The outcome was a permanent condition with an 80% visual disability and my medical retirement from the Armed Forces.
Reinvention through movement and science
I could have given up, but I chose to apply military discipline to my own recovery. I returned to a passion I had since youth: deeply understanding how the human body functions through health.
Affiliated with ONCE, I enrolled in its University School of Physiotherapy (Autonomous University of Madrid) and graduated in May 2025. Understanding pain and the body's capacity to adapt became not just an academic record, but a vital necessity.
Integrative Approach & Background
To provide rigorous answers to both patients and healthcare professionals, I integrate the clinical reasoning of manual therapy with exercise tools and applied PNI in daily practice:
- Master's Degree in Musculoskeletal Manual Therapy: Clinical reasoning and neurophysiological management of joint and muscle dysfunctions.
- Therapeutic Exercise & Pilates Method: Guided movement programming to restore functional capacity and stability.
- Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI): Understanding interactions between the nervous system, immune system, sleep, nutrition, and lifestyle.
My mission today
I no longer lead troops in the mountains, but I remain in service to others. As a physiotherapist and someone who has personally experienced a devastating health change, my goal is to translate medical evidence into real solutions.
I want to help patients overcome the fear of pain and understand how their lifestyle, immune system, and movement interconnect. At the same time, I share technical rigor and reflections with healthcare colleagues seeking an integrative view of human health.
